A 22-year-old man, who allegedly robbed the Chevron gas station in Snoqualmie Ridge at gunpoint earlier this year, was arrested by police Tuesday, Feb. 28.

The suspect was apprehended at the Kent Valley Motel, about 25 miles southwest of Snoqualmie, according to a statement from the Snoqualmie Police. He was booked into the King County Correctional Facility, being held on $280,000 bail.

The suspect faces charges for unlawful possession of a firearm and robbery, according to online records from King County. He could also see additional charges.

The arrest comes after the suspect allegedly robbed a Snoqualmie gas station on Jan. 23.

According to police, surveillance video showed the suspect enter the gas station with a semi-automatic handgun and fire a single shot into the ceiling as he approached the register. After taking cash, the man fled in a Toyota Camry, police said. No injuries were reported.

In a statement, Snoqualmie Police said the man had been involved in several armed robberies in King and Pierce County over the last three months.
