April 3
Traffic stop/DUI: An officer performed a traffic stop of a vehicle for improper lane change and expired tabs. The driver admitted to using drugs a couple hours earlier, which triggered a field sobriety test. The subject was booked into Issaquah Jail for a DUI, no valid driver’s license and providing false statements. The driver also had several outstanding arrest warrants.
April 4
Missing person: Officers responded to the report of a missing person in Snoqualmie. An officer located the individual near their residence and escorted them home.
Drug problem: An officer observed two individuals in a vehicle near the Snoqualmie Safeway gas station possibly smoking narcotics. One subject was arrested and was taken to the hospital for medical clearance, but was admitted instead. Charges were forwarded to the prosecutor.
April 5
Injury accident: Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident west of downtown North Bend. One driver was transported to the hospital.
DUI: An officer responded to a running vehicle pulled over on the roadside in downtown Snoqualmie with flashers on and major front end damage. The driver was slumped over. The driver was booked into Issaquah Jail for DUI and given a $300,000 bail due to repeated DUI charges.
April 6
Theft in progress: An employee reported shoplifting from a North Bend Outlet Mall store, with the lone suspect leaving in a vehicle. A description of the car was provided to officers. $3,100 worth of merchandise was stolen. The subject was not located.
April 7
Vehicle prowl: An individual reported their vehicle had been broken into at the Salish Lodge. $2,700 worth of electronics was stolen from the vehicle. No suspect information was known.
Traffic offense: An officer performed a traffic stop near Snoqualmie Point Park for a driver who failed to use their turn signal. It was determined that the driver had several arrest warrants, but none of those issuing agencies would extradite the male driver. Charges were forwarded for driving with a suspended license third degree and an ignition interlock violation.
April 8
Welfare check: A caller reported that two people were passed out in a parked vehicle near downtown North Bend with drugs on their laps. Officers contacted the individuals. It was determined one had an outstanding felony arrest warrant for theft in the first degree. The subject was booked into King County Jail on their warrant.
April 9
Suspicious person: A woman reported that an hour earlier, a man had attempted to lure her into his vehicle with liquor at the North Bend Chevron gas station. She provided a description of the man and associated vehicle. Officers did not locate the man.
FIRE BLOTTER
April 8
Vehicle fire: Crews responded to westbound I-90 near Preston for the report of a vehicle on fire on the roadway shoulder. The fire was coming from under the vehicle and was related to an electrical failure. It was extinguished. There were no injuries.
Dizzy: EMTs responded to a Snoqualmie business to assist an individual who was dizzy and thought they might faint.
April 9
Fainted: EMTs responded to a Snoqualmie home to assist an individual who fainted and was feeling nauseous.
Incident at Echo Glen: Crews responded to Echo Glen Children’s Center for the report of a possible riot involving three to five juveniles barricaded in a restroom with razors and shanks. The involved juveniles were taken into custody by police about an hour after the incident was reported. One juvenile suffered a facial laceration.
April 10
Cardiac arrest: Crews responded to a Snoqualmie residence for the report of a possible drug overdose. The individual was administered two doses of Narcan. After becoming conscious and alert, the person was transported to the hospital.
Alcohol poisoning: Crews assisted an individual suffering from suspected alcohol poisoning. The person was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Car accident: Crews responded to a reported one vehicle accident in the roundabout near the Snoqualmie Casino. No hospital transportation was required for the vehicle’s one occupant.
April 12
Person slumped over wheel: Crews responded to westbound I-90 east of North Bend after a passerby reported a person in a vehicle on the side of the road slumped over. The vehicle was located, but there was no injury or illness to the driver.
