SR 18 to fully close between I-90, Issaquah this weekend

SR 18 will close between the interchange and Issaquah-Hobart Road beginning Friday, July 21

The following is a press release from the Washington State Department of Transportation.

Both directions of State Route 18 will close between Interstate 90 and Issaquah-Hobart Road for annual maintenance beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, July 21. The closure will last through noon Sunday, July 23.

Residents using SR 18 need to take alternate routes and plan for additional travel time. A signed detour around the closure uses SR 169, I-405 and I-90.

Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will perform several tasks during this closure, including drainage cleaning, clearing line of sight, guardrail repair and temporary patches for potholes. Construction contractors also will perform work in the area during this closure, including drilling and surveying.
