Power outages spread across Snoqualmie Valley

According to the outage map, power restoration is anticipated by approximately 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Around 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, power outages hit Snoqualmie and stretched nearly to Rockdale, affecting around 6,000 residents, according to Puget Sound Energy (PSE). Since the initial report Wednesday morning, the number of affected residents has steadily grown.

As of now, PSE crews are investigating the two Snoqualmie outages. However, according to the PSE outage map, the other locations affected by the outage are still awaiting PSE crews.

According to the outage map, power restoration is anticipated by approximately 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Meanwhile, the Snoqualmie Fire Department is actively addressing instances of trees snapping from ice and said they expect additional breakages.

Update:

As of 2:25 p.m., PSE outage maps revised power restoration times to 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The PSE crew is still working to restore power in the Snoqualmie area.

As of 10:46 p.m., PSE outage maps revised power restoration times to Jan. 18, from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. However, PSE crews have recovered power in the centeral Snoqualmie area and are currently working to restore power in the North Bend area.

As of 10:05 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 18, PSE outage maps revised power restoration times to 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. The last power outages reside in the greater North Bend area.

As of 3:46 p.m., power outages persist in the Valley. East of Snoqualmie is experiencing power outages alongside North Bend. PSE outage maps estimate power restoration in the Snoqualmie area around 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in North Bend.

According to the outage maps, PSE crews are currently working on restoring power between Tollgate Farm Park and Snoqualmie-North Bend Road, as well as locations in Riverbend. PSE crews continue to assess the damage causing power outages in the greater North Bend area.
