Farm animal encounter: Join Si View Metro Parks at Tollgate Farm Barn, 1300 W. North Bend Way, North Bend, at 3:30 p.m. April 26 for an hour-long farm animal encounter experience. Each participant will have the opportunity to feed, snuggle and scratch the farm animals. Registration is required. Tickets are required and are available on the Si View Metro Parks website. Centennial Field Park grand opening: Head over to Centennial Field Park, 39903 SE Park Street, Snoqualmie, at 4 p.m. April 26 to celebrate the grand opening of the new, all-inclusive playground. The fully fenced, secure playground, is suitable for children of all ages and abilities. It has wheelchair-accessible play structures, ramps and a sensory garden. Recycling event: Head over to Snoqualmie Middle School, 9200 Railroad Avenue SE, Snoqualmie, on April 27 for the annual recycling event hosted by the City of North Bend and the Snoqualmie Tribe. Pet Place Market anniversary: Head over to Pet Place Market at 213 Bendigo Boulevard North in North Bend to celebrate its 17th anniversary. Guests will be treated to 20% off store-wide, free samples, vendors, raffle baskets and more. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 27-28. For more information, call 425-888-8828.

Arbor Day tree planting: Head over to Snoqualmie Community Park, 35016 SE Ridge Street, Snoqualmie, on April 27 to celebrate Arbor Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and participate in an Arbor Day tree planting event. The event is for all ages and will consist of tree planting, native plant restoration, a scavenger hunt, children’s activities and a pizza lunch. Registration is not required. North Bend Jazz Walk: Join North Bend on April 27 for the thirteenth annual North Bend Jazz Walk. Nineteen venues throughout downtown North Bend will host 28 jazz bands from 5 p.m. to midnight. Women in Leadership gathering: Head to Meadowbrook Farm, 1711 Boalch Avenue NW, North Bend, on April 30 for the Snoqualmie Valley Women in Leadership Spring Connection Gathering. The event, from 7 to 9 p.m., is designed to help local women in business and leadership roles build community and grow in their leadership journey. Technical Assistance Open House: Join the SnoValley Chamber of Commerce for the May 1 Technical Assistance Open House, offering one-on-one, free technical assistance to local businesses from local resource providers. The event, designed to break down barriers to access business development support, will run from 1 to 4 p.m. The drop-in event guarantees that participants will learn how to help their businesses grow and succeed. Pajama Story Time: Head over to the North Bend Library on May 1 for pajama story time from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Kids ages 0 to 7 are welcome to come and enjoy stories, music, movement and rhymes with a parent or guardian present.
