REI snowshoe guide: Professional REI Coop guides are taking guests on a scenic snowshoe tour of Snoqualmie Pass, ending in drinks with the group at Dru Bru’s taproom on the pass. The event starts at 12 p.m. at REI’s Snoqualmie Pass Snowshoe Rental Outpost, where guests will be outfitted with all the gear they need. Tickets start at $139 and can be purchased at rei.com/events.

Vision board workshop: Carnation Farms is hosting a three-hour vision board session with health and wellness coach Dr. Diane Price. In the workshop, participants will get clear on goals and desires for 2025, enhance focus and clarity, create a positive mindset, boost motivation and increase confidence. Event is 1-4 p.m.
Book release party: Celebrate the release of “How an Angel Dies” with Snoqualmie Valley romance author Sarah Monday at Pour House Pete’s in Carnation. The book is the second in Monday’s Code of Souls series. The event will include an author meet and greet, Q&A and book signing, and books will be available to purchase. Event is at 4 p.m.
‘80s cover band birthday bash: Remlinger Farms in Carnation is hosting a performance by ‘80s pop and rock cover band Jackie and the Holograms to celebrate the birthdays of several locals. All ages are invited to join. Event is from 5-8 p.m.

North Bend Beer Runners at South Fork: The North Bend Beer Runners will run/walk the South Fork Landing Disc Golf Course starting at 6 p.m., ending the evening with drinks at South Fork. The club meets every Thursday. All levels of runners — and walkers — are welcome.
Avalanche awareness class: Volition Brewing in North Bend is hosting an avalanche awareness class, taught by instructors from the Northwest Avalanche Center. Guests will learn how to access avalanche and mountain weather forecasts and recognize key signs of avalanche danger. Event is at 6:30 p.m. RSVP at nwac.us.
Country line dancing: Miller’s in Carnation is hosting an evening of open line dancing with instruction by Snoqualmie Valley Line Dancing’s Amanda Johnson. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase, and attendees can bring in outside food. Event is at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at millerscarnation.com.
