When the holidays have come and gone, Snoqualmie residents have several options to dispose of their old Christmas trees.

Local Boy Scout troops will collect holiday trees curbside on Saturday, Jan. 8. Leave plain, undecorated trees in the driveway by 8 a.m. Flocked trees, tinsel, decorations and tree nails will not be accepted. Suggested donation is $10. Make checks payable to BSA Troop 425. Enclose donations in an envelope and attach to the base of the tree with rubber bands.

Mill site drop off

Drop off your holiday tree for free at the old Weyerhaeuser Mill site, 38800 S.E. Mill Pond Road, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31 and Saturday, Jan. 8. Flocked trees, tinsel, decorations and tree nails will not be accepted. To get to the site, drive toward Snoqualmie Falls and immediately after crossing the bridge turn onto Mill Pond Road; turn left at 0.1 miles; turn right at 0.4 miles; turn right at 0.2 miles, or follow the signs. This service is provided free of charge by the Snoqualmie Parks and Recreation Department with support from North Fork Enterprises.
