My sister and I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone in the community who supported our mother, Lillian LaPorte, during her battle with cancer. Your cards and letters brought her so much joy during that difficult time.

We would also like to say thank you very much for the donations that were made to the account set up in her name by her co-workers at Sterling Savings. This helped tremendously with the additional expenses that arose during her illness. Because of this generosity, she did not have to worry about money and that took away some of the stress, making her quality of life so much better.

This battle would have been much more difficult without the love and support we received from so many in the Valley and we will be forever grateful to you all.
