Monday, April 5
Vehicle prowler: At 1:20 a.m., a North Bend resident reported a prowler in her neighborhood. While she was watching television, she heard a noise outside. She looked out the window and saw the dome light of her minivan. She yelled and pounded on the window to scare off the suspect. The suspect ran through the trailer park. The woman did not get a good look of the suspect, but believed that he was wearing a grey hoodie and jeans. Nothing was missing in the minivan.
Friday, April 2
Vandalized register: At 7:50 a.m., a walker noticed a broken cash register in the street. He reported seeing a man near the machine trying to get into it. When an officer arrived, no one was in the area. The cash register appeared to have been thrown from a moving vehicle, as it had skid marks and abrasions. The officer could not locate cash or coins in the area.

Identity scam: At 10:13 a.m., a woman reported that she received a phone call from someone who said she was her granddaughter. The caller said she had been arrested at the Canadian border because she was with two people that had marijuana in the trunk. The “granddaughter” said she needed $4,200 in bail money and cash wired to her within the next two hours. A second woman got on the phone and spoke to the victim, who said she was a police officer and and instructed that the victim could wire money to London, Ontario. The impersonators left no call number. The North Bend grandmother withdrew the money and proceeded to a Moneygram office. The employee told her no more than $900 could be sent due to pervasive scams. She was then called by her daughter, who said her granddaughter was in school all day. The victim told the officer she did not know how the suspects got her home and cell numbers or how they knew her granddaughter. No money was transferred.

Wednesday, March 31
Unpaid tickets: At 5:40 p.m., an officer was on patrol when he saw a blue/beige 1994 Chevrolet truck traveling north on Pine Avenue. As the vehicle passed the officer, the officer recognized the driver from prior encounters. The officer had contacted the driver a few weeks earlier and knew his license was questionable. The officer ran the license and found that the driver’s license was suspended in the third degree for unpaid tickets. The case will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for filing of charges.
Suspended license: At 5:35 p.m., an officer on patrol saw a green 1999 Toyota truck traveling north on Silva Avenue. The officer ran a registration check and found that the owner’s license was suspended for unpaid tickets. Pulling over the car, the officer was told that the man had paid the tickets and fees. The officer advised him that he would be receiving a criminal citation in the mail.

Wednesday, April 7
Medical call: At 1:33 a.m., Snoqualmie emergency medical technicians (EMTs) were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Casino for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to the Snoqualmie Valley Hospital by Snoqualmie EMTs.
Tuesday, April 6
Dizziness: At 2:50 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to Sword Fern Avenue Southeast for a 44-year-old man with shoulder pain and dizziness. He was evaluated and left at home with aftercare instructions.
Medical call: At 1:25 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs and Bellevue paramedics were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Casino for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to the Snoqualmie Valley Hospital by Snoqualmie EMTs.
Monday, April 5
Weakness: At 4 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to Park Street for an elderly man who had flu-like symptoms and weakness. He was evaluated and transported to Overlake Medical Center by private ambulance.
Unconscious man: At 5:04 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the casino with Bellevue paramedics for an 85-year-old man who was found unconscious at a slot machine. The man was evaluated and left at the scene after a refusal of treatment was signed.
Breathing problem: At 6:07 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs and Bellevue paramedics were dispatched to Pickering Court for a 4-year-old girl with breathing difficulty. She was treated and transported by Snoqualmie EMTs to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital.
Allergic reaction: At 11:50 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Casino for a 52-year-old man who was thought to be experiencing an allergic reaction to food. The man was evaluated and transported by private ambulance to Overlake Medical Center.
Saturday, April 3
Odd smell: At 10:32 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Sword Fern Avenue for an electrical smell in a residence. They determined smell was from a faulty furnace. Homeowner was advised to have it serviced.
Fall: At 11:46 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Ridge area for a 7-year-old boy who had fallen. The boy was evaluated, his wounds cleaned, and transported by his mother to Swedish Medical Center in Issaquah.
Fall: At 5:21 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded with Fall City firefighters to the boardwalk below Snoqualmie Falls for a man who fell and had a head injury. He was packed out, and transported to Harborview Medical Center by paramedics.
Friday, April 2
Medical call: At 7:30 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Middle School for a medical call. One patient was treated and left in care of staff at the school.

Wednesday, April 7
Shot man: At 5:29 a.m., Fall City Fire Department, Eastside Fire and Rescue, and Bellevue paramedics responded to the 3600 block of Lake Kanglois Road Northeast for two men that were involved in an altercation, one of whom was shot with a gun. After King County Sheriff Officers secured the scene, emergency medical technicians and paramedics evaluated, and treated the two men. One patient suffered a head laceration, and the second patient suffered two gunshot wounds. The patient who had been shot was transported by Airlift Northwest’s helicopter to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment. The other man was transported to a local hospital by a private ambulance.
Sunday, April 4
Barn fire: At 2:56 p.m., Fall City Fire Department, Eastside Fire and Rescue, and Snoqualmie Fire Department responded to the 7000 block of Preston Fall City Road Southeast for reports of a barn on fire. Firefighters found a fully involved barn fire. Since there were no nearby fire hydrants, crews had to bring in water tenders. Firefighters worked together to extinguish the fire while protecting nearby buildings. The barn was unoccupied.
Saturday, April 3
Fall: At 9:33 p.m., Fall City and Snoqualmie crews and Bellevue paramedics responded to the 37500 block of Southeast Fish Hatchery Road for a man in his 20s who accidentally fell from the boardwalk of the lower power house at the Snoqualmie Falls. He fell about 12 feet and suffered a head laceration and possible skull fracture. Crews worked together to treat the patient and perform a careful operation to remove him to safety. Paramedics then transported him to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment.
Friday, April 2
Unconscious man: At 3:15 p.m., Fall City firefighters and Bellevue paramedics responded to the 4800 block of Preston Fall City Road for a 69-year-old man who was unconscious. Both EMTs and paramedics quickly evaluated,= and treated the patient at the scene. He was then transported to a local hospital by a private ambulance for further treatment.

Illegal burn: At 8:35 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 4400 block of 334th Place Southeast for a possible illegal burn. Arriving at the scene, firefighters found an unattended burn pile of construction materials. The fire was extinguished and a notice of violation was left at the scene because no valid burn permit was found, the fire was burning after daylight hours, the fire was not attended, there were inadequate setbacks to combustible materials, and illegal items were being burned.
