North Bend Police Responses
Tuesday, Jan. 18
Credit Card Fraud: At 3:08 p.m., a resident in the 700 block of NE 6th Street reported to police that someone had used his MasterCard to commit fraud. The victim was notified by the United Services Automobile Association’s fraud department that someone had made five fraudulent transactions with the card.
Stolen Truck: At 7 p.m., a man contacted police to report that his Chevy S-10 pickup truck had been stolen, from where he’d parked it on the shoulder of the 900 block ow W Ribary Way.
Snoqualmie Police Responses
Wednesday, Jan. 19
Transient Break-in: At 3:41 p.m., a Snoqualmie property owner contacted an officer on speed patrol and asked him to help investigate an event at the home he had for sale. The man had been notified by his realtor that the empty building had a window broken out. The officer found a broken window at the house, well hidden by trees, and called for assistance with a building search. Two officers used the owner’s key to enter the back door. A man inside announced his location in the kitchen, and officers restrained him. The man said he’d walked to the home the previous night from Preston, and had waited until 2:30 a.m. to break the window. He said he was just looking for a place to sleep. He was booked into the Issaquah Jail.
Monday, Jan. 17
Holiday Gathering: At 8:48 p.m., police received a report of a large crowd assembling in the Mount Si High School parking lot. They responded immediately, but were unable to locate any gathering.
Sunday, Jan. 16
Car Prowl: At 5:20 p.m., the victim of a car prowl contacted police about his stolen items. The man said he had parked his vehicle in the 6400 block of Railroad Avenue SE at about 4:30 p.m., and found the left rear passenger window shattered when he returned. The thief had unlocked the door and taken a purse, an iPod, a laptop computer and other items, valued at $2,500 total.
Friday, Jan. 14
Making Payments: At 8:14 p.m., an officer stopped a blue Isuzu in the 93000 block of Stone Quarry Road, for not having working taillights. The driver was found to have a suspended license, which she said must be a mistake, since she was making payments on that ticket. The officer informed her that she was not legally allowed to drive at all until the ticket was resolved. She called a friend to pick her up.
Fall City Fire District
Wednesday, Jan 26
Alarm: At 10:58 p.m., firefighters responded to the 4200 block of Preston Fall City Road for a report of a fire alarm in the area. Nothing was found.
Faintness: At 9:25 a.m., EMTs responded to the 1300 block of West Snoqualmie River Road for a 52-year-old man who was experiencing syncope. After being evaluated at the scene, the patient left at the scene with family members.
Breathing problem: At 5:17 a.m., EMTs and Bellevue Paramedics responded to the 9500 block of 315th Avenue Southeast for a 66-year-old man experiencing respiratory distress. After evaluation and treatment, the man was transported to an area hospital by ambulance.
Sunday, Jan. 23
Choking: At 8:57 p.m., EMTs responded to the 33100 block of Southeast 43rd Street for a 90-year-old woman who was choking. She was assisted at the scene, and transported to an area hospital by ambulance for follow-up treatment.
Car accident: At 10:57 a.m., EMTs responded to the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Snoqualmie Parkway for a two-car motor vehicle accident. No one was injured.
Saturday, Jan. 22
Confiused man: At 8:48 p.m., EMTs responded to the 4600 block of 332nd Avenue Southeast for a 65-year-old man who was said to be confused and disoriented. Upon arrival, the patient was evaluated and rushed to an area hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Thursday, Jan. 20
Car-vs-pedestrian: At 5:58 p.m., EMTs from Snoqualmie and Fall City responded to the 36000 block of Southeast King Street for a car vs pedestrian accident. One patient was treated and transported to an area hospital by ambulance.
