Mount Si’s boys’ tennis team is improving, but still struggling to put one in the win column.
It was another dominating day last Monday, Oct. 20, for the Mount Si boys’ golf team, as they added a district title to their league title trophy won just a week prior.
The Mount Si Wildcat football team overcame a penalty-filled effort to post their fourth straight win last Friday night, 35-14 over the Juanita Rebels at Mount Si High School. Zach Kirchmeyer scored twice, once on offense, once on defense, to help the Wildcats clinch a state playoff berth.
Last week was a dream for the Mount Si girls’ soccer team, as they continued their unbeaten second half string and grabbed the Kingco 3A championship.
For the third straight week, the Wildcat varsity football team dominated on both sides of the ball.
The Wildcat tennis team struggled against the two best teams in Kingco 3A last week.
The varsity volleyballers of the Valley held their own last week, as they split a pair of games.
It was a a nice showing in a five-way meet last Wednesday, Oct. 8, for Valley cross country runners in Bellevue.
The boys of the Mount Si High School golf squad are now 2008 Kingco boys golf champions.
