The Mount Si Wildcat girls basketball team is very much in the hunt for the #3 spot into the Kingco Tournament. Getting there, though, has not been easy; they have to earn it.

The Mount Si Wildcat girls basketball team Wednesday, January 20 took on the top team in Kingco 3A, the Mercer Island Islanders. The Wildcats gave MI everything they could handle, but at the end of the day, and after two Mount Si game-winning shot attempts which both missed, the Islanders escaped.
The Mount Si Wildcat boys basketball team Tuesday, January 19 was looking to rebound from a tough loss January 15 against the Bellevue Wolverines. It was not going to be easy, though, as the opponent was the always tough Mercer Island Islanders. And the Islanders, especially in the second half, gave Mount Si all it could handle, but when the final horn sounded, the Wildcats had survived.
Mount Si’s gymnastics program celebrated the work of seven seniors, then proceeded to give them, and their fans, a memorable night last Thursday night, January 14, as they pulled off a gigantic win.

Mount Si’s boys basketball team faced its toughest test yet Tuesday, January 5, in a ranked, and very good, O’Dea Irish squad. The Wildcats gave it their best and stayed with the Irish through much of the game, but turnovers in critical situations ended up costing them.
