It would be a mistake to think of the best bar in the Valley as just a bar.

Owner Keith Mickle has turned the former Little Chalet restaurant on North Bend Way into a cozy getaway. The mix of table seating, bar stools and even a coach in front of a fireplace make the North Bend Bar and Grill ideal for any group.

Bar food was never supposed to be this good, either. The bar’s Mount Si Burger is colossal. The Black & Bleu Caesar salad is a wonderful marriage of blackened tenderloin tips and greens. Chicken strips are available in both regular and buffalo style and can be served with bleu cheese dressing that has real crumbles of blue cheese in it. Nice.
