There are only a few weeks left of the selling season at Mount Si

Farm & Gardens, located at 42328 S.E. 108th Street in North Bend, about

one mile from downtown on Ballarat.

The business is in its first year, and owners Nels and Anne Melgaard

offer flowers and herbs, but specialize in perennials, with at least 70

varieties.

The Melgaards previously owned Fortunate Farms at the same

location, but are now focusing on flowers.

Hanging baskets are popular items, and customers love the plant

sales, Nels Melgaard said. He also features landscaping services, including

design assistance. Mount Si Farm & Garden is open Friday through Sunday at 9

a.m., or by appointment, and can be reached at (425) 831-2274.
