The North Bend Farmers Market season opens Thursday, June 17, and runs weekly through August 26.
Market hours are 4 to 8 p.m. at Si View Park, 400 S.E. Orchard Dr., North Bend. Live concerts start at 5:30 p.m.
Over the winter months, Si View Park has gone through a face lift, adding a 76-stall paved parking area, sidewalks, outdoor benches, water fountains, signage and new lighting. The Farmers Market and concert stage will be located in the new parking lot and surrounding grass fields. Reusable market totes will be available for $2 throughout the season to enhance the shopping experience.
At the market, shoppers will find unusual varieties of fruits and vegetables, and can meet the farmers who grow your food, ask when it was picked, how it was grown, and ways to prepare it. Fresh organic produce, cut flowers, grass-fed beef, honey, herbs and other specialty items will be available.
The North Bend Farmers Market participates in the WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program.
