New mural brightens downtown North Bend

Sarah Hughes from A Pinch Different LLC has shared her talent for brightening up bland buildings with yet another colorful mural in North Bend.

Her newest work is located on the back side of The Iron Duck Public House at 101 W. North Bend Way.

“The amazing mural artist, Sarah Hughes, does it again,” wrote North Bend Mayor Mary Miller on Facebook. “Artistically gracing another wall in downtown North Bend [and] minimizing [the] visibility of utility boxes while magnifying key elements [and] treasures in our beautiful town!”

Hughes has worked on several murals around the Snoqualmie Valley, including one on the side of Pressed on Main in North Bend and the seasonal elk painting on Carousel in Snoqualmie.
