On Oct. 22, Jorve Roofing professionals joined a group of volunteers in putting a new roof on the Friends of Youth counseling center in downtown Snoqualmie.
The roofing project was the culmination of a joint effort between Jorve Roofing and KOMO Mariners Radio. The project, called “Operation Roof Repair,” was promoted on this season’s radio broadcasts of Mariner’s games. Operation Roof Repair encouraged the public to submit suggestions of community buildings that needed roof repair. Based on this input, Friends of Youth was chosen to receive a new roof at no charge, with all materials and labor courtesy of Jorve Roofing.
Friends of Youth is a nonprofit organization committed to helping children, youth and families in the areas of prevention, housing and treatment in King and Snohomish counties.
Jorve Roofing was founded nearly 20 years ago and has grown to become one of the largest and most successful roofing contractors in the Pacific Northwest.
