Snoqualmie’s western-inspired Woodman Lodge Steakhouse and Saloon is in the running for best steakhouse in Evening Magazine’s annual “Best of Western Washington” competition.

On day two of voting, Woodman Lodge, owned by Peter La Haye, held first place.

Poll honors aren’t the only award for the Woodman Lodge this year. Last May, La Haye was recognized for “Outstanding Achievement in Design” at the 24th Annual Downtown Revitalization Training Institute awards for his efforts in renewing the Woodman Lodge.

La Haye purchased the historic 1902 Modern Woodman of America building in the heart of downtown Snoqualmie in 2006.
