Appreciated acts of generosity

Our community is fortunate to have individuals within it whose acts of generosity are a benefit to us all. A recent example is the three business men who have donated their time, materials and labor to improve the appearance of the Snoqualmie Valley Moose Club.

By improving the facility, we can attract more members and qualified guests to our club. In turn, the dollars they spend help fund many charitable endeavors that the Moose is involved with, and are applied locally in the community. These include donations to the needy, supporting local education, children’s programs and more.

Economic times being what they are, there weren’t available funds needed to make necessary improvements to the building. That’s when these individuals stepped up. Without being asked, they saw the need and presented their plan to us. Tom Weber of Weber Construction, Francis Claffey of Claffey Painting and Aaron Hite, a private contractor, helped make the Moose Club a more attractive venue for its members and guests. Thanks, guys. Your generosity has a far-reaching and positive impact to our communities and people of the Snoqualmie Valley.
