I applaud the City Council for the City of North Bend, the Mayor, Staff and the community for the latest purchase of open space property next to EJ Roberts Park. I appreciate the creativity that was used to make the financing package come together.

North Bend has a historical legacy of taking the risk to set property aside for us now and later generations to come -a little more breathing room, if you will. There is no doubt in my mind that the land will be put to good use.
