I’m endorsing and asking you to vote Gary Fancher to the Snoqualmie Valley School District Board. I had the pleasure of serving with Gary on the North Bend Planning Commission for many years and am aware of his service to our community in other roles including Opstad Elementary PTA.

As chair of the North Bend Planning Commission, Gary has been an effective leader: By example through preparation; in interacting and listening to the public; and by incorporating input into well-designed policy. He ensures transparency both in and outside of meetings, advocates the best for the community, and gets positive results.

We need Gary’s thoughtful, proactive and independent voice for our schools. Gary is open to community input, thorough in studying the issues, engaging with staff for clarity and data, and will always be well prepared to make whatever decisions come before the board.

I encourage you to vote Gary Fancher for School Board Position 4.
