In regard to Lower Valley needs data on flooding causes: Both the upper and lower valley have flooded for as long as we can remember. The abundance of rain mixed with snowmelt have always been the major culprit.
However when thousands of homes give way to forests, and the rain water that used to be absorbed by forested ground and instead now flows off those large roofs, where would anyone expect it to go? Downhill.
Those who have pushed for the Ridge development, now years ago, left soon after the initial construction, took the money for their real estate and left us with the problem including the continuing higher property taxes.
It is too simple to waste money to fund for more studies.
