“The day it rained frogs.” At the age of 94, I’ve never known anyone who had a similar experience. I’ve heard of it raining different creatures, even frogs. The day was in the mid-1920s. At age 9 or 10, traveling from Longview, Wash., to Rainier, Ore., we were in a hurry to catch the ferry across the Columbia River—this was before the bridge was built. We stopped to see what was falling on the hood of the car. I picked one up from the hood. It was a frog, and it was dead. They were laying all over the road. The little frog was about two inches long, and transparent. I will be very interested to hear from others who may have been in weird rain storms. Thanks in advance,
