The tragic loss of one of Mount Si High School’s many amazing products hit home for many of us with children that age.

The Valley Record did a great job at getting the story quickly and sharing it both through their Web edition and in print.

The quality of the story and the timeliness are a true reflection of a newspaper that is highly connected to the community it serves.

I’m glad the values that are important to me are still reflected in the efforts of the Record.

My condolences go out to the friends and family of Mr. Ward.
