Too late for hotel

I moved to North Bend more than 15 years ago. I love it here! I will not love a Hampton Inn marking the “Mountains-to-Sound” hillside.

I will not love a Hampton Inn marking the “Mountains-to-Sound” hillside. I’m sure that you’ve heard from many people, with very good reasons, to avoid a hotel in this location, so I will not repeat all of their good reasoning, with which I agree.

I want to say that the people who bought the property to build a hotel should have objected strongly to building the Forster Woods neighborhood in the first place — before it was ever built. The neighborhood probably should never have been built in the first place. But now that it is here, it is just plain wrong to put a hotel right next door to it! There are major issues with this and most sensible people know that.
