The Mount Si Classic Charity Golf Tournament, benefiting nonprofits across the Snoqualmie Valley, swings into action next month. The tournament, held at Mount Si Golf Club, is set to tee-off Monday, Aug. 22.
The golf event and SipFest are the two annual fundraising events held by the Rotary Club of the Snoqualmie Valley. This is the 29th year the tournament has been held.
“We’ve done this for over 20 years and all proceeds go right back into the community,” said Charlie Pratt, a rotary club member. “We hope people come out and have fun.”
The event begins with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. followed by lunch, awards and a raffle. The event is also offering $5,000 for a hole-in-one, Pratt said.
Golfers can sign up as individuals or in groups of four. Tickets cost $175 per person. To register, visit the events tab on snoqualmievalleyrotary.org.
