Americorps, NCCC and Mountains to Sound Greenway crews spent several days last week cleaning up riverside property in North Bend, removing entangling, noxious weeds such as ivy and holly.

Residents can help restore the native environment in local parks; volunteer plantings are set for Saturday, Feb. 26, at Riverfront Park, and Saturday, March 5 and 12 at the Three Forks Natural Area and dog park in Snoqualmie.
