Summer’s not over yet. The North Bend Farmer’s Market continues to draw vendors, shoppers, playful children and peppy music acts to the green at Si View Park. The market runs 4 to 8 p.m. every Thursday at the park, 400 S.E. Orchard Drive. Two more dates await this season, Sept. 4 and 11.

Hallie Halferty of North Bend sees if her young neighbor, Christine, 4, wants to go down the slide with her and son Hatcher, who is 16 months old. Mom and son make a habit of hitting the playground at Si View Park, and visiting the Thursday evening farmer’s market. “It’s pretty fun, especially if he’s got a big smile on his face,” she said.
