From gently spooky to gruesome and gory, Si View Community Center in North Bend hosts three different Halloween events for a variety of ages starting this weekend.
First, the Harvest Carnival offers spooktacular fun for families with young children, 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22.
All are welcome to dress in costume and try their luck at carnival games, enjoy refreshments and have a fright at the G-rated version of the Si View Haunted House. Games are five for a dollar, and haunted house admission is $1. Harvest Carnival is part of the Family Night series co-sponsored by Encompass and Si View Metro Parks.
Pumpkin swim
Just like the drive-in, but wetter, Si View’s Dive-In Movies event and Pumpkin Patch Swim is 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at the Si View Pool.
This event is suitable for all ages, but children age 6 and younger should have an adult in the pool with them. Families are encouraged to register at (425) 831-1900. Cost is $5 per person. Space is limited.
Triple-G Haunted House
The more scary version of Si View Haunted House runs 6 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Community Center.
Enter at your own risk! This event is rated 3G for gory, gruesome and graphic, and is not recommended for the very young. Admission is $3.
