Learn the art of encaustics with artist Laurie Clark at a Mount Si Artist Guild workshop, noon to 4 p.m. in the old Snoqualmie Library building next to Snoqualmie City Hall.

Clark will introduce students to various encaustic techniques and methods, and students will apply wax into or on top of their paintings to achieve a porcelain-like finish.
