Snoqualmie Falls Brewing Company’s Tap Room is the site of a silent auction, 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, benefiting a child literacy project.
The night’s beneficiary is Child-aid.org, based out of Portland, and working directly in Guatemala. Funds go to help establish libraries in a country with the lowest literacy rate of the Americas. About 46 percent of Guatemala’s population cannot read or write.
Auction items include Northwest Railway Museum tickets, gift certificates to KoKo Beans, La Fogata, Down to Earth Flowers and Gifts, Coffee Xpresso, an estate plan donated by attorney Sylvia Sammons, artwork, bamboo, outdoor gear and other items.
