The following Easter egg hunts and special events are planned in the Snoqualmie Valley:

Carnation egg hunt

The American Legion and Auxiliary Post 199 of Carnation will hold their Easter egg hunt, starting promptly at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 3, at Memorial Park between Tolt Middle School and the Catholic Church. Ages 1 to 9 are welcome. Plan to be there by 9:15 a.m. Please park in the St. Anthony’s parking lot. To learn more, call Diana Board at (425) 788-1992.

Snoqualmie hunt

Snoqualmie’s annual Easter Egg Hunt rolls out at 10 a.m. sharp Saturday, April 3, at Centennial Fields, 39903 S.E. Park St. Be there early, because once it starts, the eggs go fast.

The hunt is for children ages 1 to 12. There is no cost. The hunt is sponsored by City of Snoqualmie Parks and Recreation Department, the Sno Valley Eagles Womens Auxilary and the Snoqualmie Ridge Residential Owners Association. For information, call (425) 831-5784.

North Bend hunt

Snoqualmie Valley Moose Lodge returns with its Easter Egg Hunt, 9 a.m. sharp Saturday, April 3, at Si View Community Center in North Bend. The Moose host a complimentary breakfast at their lodge, 108 Sydney Ave. (the brick building at the corner of Sydney and North Bend Way) following the hunt. To learn more, call (425) 888-0951.

Flashlight egg hunt

Teens age 13 to 17 can have some crazy Easter fun at the Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt, 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, April 2, at Centennial Park, 39801 S.E. Park St., Snoqualmie. Teens who bring a flashlight can hunt for candy and prizes.

The fun doesn’t stop when the eggs are gone. The city and ROA are serving up pizza, beverages, and a state-of-the-art mobile game theatre from 8:45 to 10 p.m. Watch for the Games2U strobe light to guide you to Centennial Field. Parents should be ready to pick up their teen at 10 p.m. There is no cost to take part. For more information, call the parks department at (425) 831-5784.

Downtown’s Hoppin’

Downtown’s Hoppin’, the annual Easter tradition at downtown Snoqualmie businesses, returns from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 3.

Participating businesses will have balloons by the door. Families are welcome to bring baskets for special treats. Downtown merchants have been building a tradition of welcoming families with special events during holidays.

Sunrise service

The Snoqualmie Valley Ministerial Association will hold its Easter sunrise service, “He is Risen,” 6:30 a.m. Sunday, April 4, at Snoqualmie Valley Hospital, 9575 Ethan Wade Way.

All are welcome to hear Pastor Mark Griffith of Mount Si Lutheran Church speak.

Peter Cottontail Puppet Show

Shiloh egg hunt

Shiloh Life Fellowship in North Bend hosts a free Easter egg hunt, 10 a.m. Saturday, April 3. One thousand eggs will be hidden. Children can find prizes, candy, games and fun. Easter brunch
