The annual community meeting of the Fall City Historical Society will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Fall City Masonic Hall.
All are invited to come and learn “What Really, Really Old Food Tells Us about History, Culture, Love, and Memory.”
Speaker Harriet Baskas, has written seven books and created award-winning radio programs on a variety of topics. She chooses quirky topics, researches them thoroughly and then brings entertaining images and interpretations to her presentations. Her appearance is sponsored by Humanities Washington.
