Firefighters to fill the boot in North Bend for muscular dystrophy cure

Firefighters with Eastside Fire and Rescue will seek donations during two Fill the Boot drives, 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 30, and Friday, Sept. 10, at the intersection of Bendigo Boulevard and Mount Si Boulevard in North Bend.

Firefighters with Eastside Fire and Rescue will seek donations during two Fill the Boot drives, 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 30, and Friday, Sept. 10, at the intersection of Bendigo Boulevard and Mount Si Boulevard in North Bend.

Fill the Boot is a fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Last year, local firefighters raised more than $37,000, taking in the second largest total in King County and third largest Fill the Boot tally in the state.
