Friends of Youth will host a ribbon cutting and open house at 2 p.m. Friday, June 2, in celebration of its new North Bend office, located at 401 Ballarat Ave. N. Representative Dave Reichert, King County Councilmember Kathy Lambert, North Bend Mayor Ken Hearing and Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson will speak at the event.

Friends of Youth has had an office in the Snoqualmie Valley since 1988. The current office, in downtown Snoqualmie, can no longer accommodate the number of children, youth & families in need of services. The new office has additional space for the agency’s mental health and substance abuse counseling services, home visiting services for young families and support for young people experiencing homelessness.
