Prime rib to be served at Carnation center
Love is in the air, and prime rib is on the plate, at the Sno-Valley Senior Center in Carnation.
A Valentine’s dinner is planned for Saturday, Feb. 14, at the center, located just behind city hall in downtown Carnation. Cost is $15 per person, and includes a choice of prime rib, salmon or chicken, a trip down the salad bar, baked potato or rice and a special dessert. Diners can add a shrimp cocktail or a bowl of clam chowder for an extra $2. The kitchen is staffed by volunteers, and all proceeds benefit the center.
The dinner is so popular, the center offers three seatings: 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Later seatings sell out, so reservations are recommended. Call (425) 333-4152.
