Isadora’s Cafe in Snoqualmie will be a whirl of fabrics and colors as owner Jody Sands brings back an old cafe tradition: the vintage fashion show.

The vintage show is planned for 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13. Admission of $15 includes a caesar salad and spaghetti putanesca.

Fashions are from the Double Take shop in Issaquah.

Cafe staff, friends and family will walk the figurative catwalk, displaying glamorous clothes from past decades.

“I love vintage clothing,” Sands said. “It’s really come back, really popular right now. I’m hoping this is a success and we can continue to do this.”

Sands herself was a model, 15 years ago, as an employee of former owner Cris Coffing.

“We did it years and years ago,” she said. “We had so much fun last time. That was probably my favorite thing we ever did here.”

As a 20-year-old, she modeled a gold-embroidered taffeta dress and a 1970s wedding ensemble.

Models for the new show include Cris Coffing, Kenya Dillon, Amy Hyde, Peggy Rita Kim Franco, and Erin Rainey. Models choose their own dresses.

Information will be presented about each outfit.

Cris Coffing modeled for a sportswear company, and has taken part in charity fashion shows for Nordstrom.

Coffing said she is drawn to the clothes of the 1960s and early ‘70s. On the catwalk, she’s never self-conscious or nervous.

“I try to put myself in the character of the clothes I’m wearing,” Coffing said.
