Hubertus Liere, 85, of Carnation, died at home on Monday, July 13.
Hubertus was born in Fernewerder, Germany on Dec. 1, 1923. He was a World War II soldier on the Russian Front and was wounded twice. He attended Arts and Crafts School in Wuppertal, Germany and completed training in furniture and interior design.
