• Questions about whether King County or local interests will be responsible for maintenance of Fall City Community Park have prompted another inquiry by the Fall City Business and Professional Association. The BPA agreed Friday to write a letter to the county parks department, inviting a county representative to a meeting concerning maintenance.
• The grunts and groans of Big Time Pro Wrestling will come to Snoqualmie this Sunday night. A triple main event and three other matches are on tap. Featured in the triple main event are Billy Hack vs. Rip Oliver, Buddy Rose vs. The Dynamite Kid, and Curt Hennig vs. The Assassin.
• “On to Spokane” is the rallying cry of the girls and boys representing Tolt High School in cross country, as the Demons duplicated the one-two placing in the Cascade A League with a victory in the Northwest A-B meet at Mount Vernon.

Thursday, Nov. 13, 1958
• The Snoqualmie River was rising slowly at press time Wednesday, but it had already passed the flood stage at the Puget Sound Power and Light Company’s generating station and was across the road under the Milwaukee trestle, flooding lowland farmlands on down the Valley.
• The Men of Note will set the pace for this year’s Mount Si High School Junior Prom, and decorations designed to create an “Enchanted Island” will set the scene. Date of this year’s prom is Friday, Nov. 14.
• The delightful, man-pleasing aroma of juicy roast beef will waft from Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church parish hall, Nov. 16, as the church women host their annual public dinner.

Thursday, Nov. 9, 1933
• H.P. Williams of Meadowbrook met with a serious accident Thursday morning of last week, while engaged in his duties of flagging down cars on this side of the summit of Snoqualmie Pass. A car struck him as he was attempting to flag it down, fracturing one of his legs and badly bruising the other.
• That (in)famous band of deer hunters from Snoqualmie, made up of Nate Tippie, June Moore, Ralph Russell, Bert Crotts and Jack Russell of Hamilton, left Oct. 27 for the Okanagan country in quest of big game. They returned Monday with a marvelous tale of adventure and three fine bucks. It seems that Tippie shot a deer, then walked up to cut its throat. The game beast was not as dead as expected, and led Tippie on an active pursuit.
