The city of Snoqualmie’s annual tree lighting ceremony is a week earlier this year, taking place the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
From 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 26, come to Railroad Park for an evening of caroling, choir music, carriage rides, visits with Santa and refreshments. Santa arrives to light the tree at 6:30 p.m. and then to visit with children.
Downtown Snoqualmie businesses will also welcome guests with a variety of activities, including free face painting at The Station Barber Shop, free cookies, cider and samples, plus discounts for shoppers at Corner’s Gift Shop, an open house with children’s crafts and activities at Bella Vita Salon, an open house with prizes and discounts at Down to Earth Flowers & Gifts, a wine-tasting with free appetizers by Gianfranco and sales discounts at the Art Gallery of SnoValley, and live music at two venues: The Black Dog Arts Cafe hosts Rylei Franks, and Sigillo Cellars hosts Tinkham Road.
