Help care for the planet this week with Earth and Arbor day events in the Valley.

April 25

Earth Day chalk walk, 1-5 p.m.: Si View Metro Parks is hosting a sidewalk chalk drawing event and competition at Si View Park in honor of Earth Day. Attendees will get to draw on the paved trail and then enter their creation into a drawing for prizes. Event is free, but pre-registration is required at siviewpark.org/family-fun.phtml.

Trails Day cleanup at Tennant Trailhead Park, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Join Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance and Si View Metro Parks in cleaning up drains and working on minor tread repair at Tennant Trailhead Park in North Bend. The event is in honor of the national celebration Trails Day, and attendees can ride the trail after volunteering. Pre-registration is required and can be done at siviewpark.org/mountain-biking.phtml.

Duvall community barter event, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Community members are invited to the Duvall Visitor Center to trade items they have made or grown, such as crafts, food items and garden crops. Check in is from 9-9:45 a.m.; bartering starts at 10 a.m.

Carnation Arbor Day Celebration, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Carnation’s third annual Arbor Day celebration at Tolt Commons will include live music, storytelling, demonstrations, tree giveaways and more. Carnation recently joined other Valley towns in being named a Tree City by the Arbor Day Foundation.

Northwest Art Center benefit auction, 5-9 p.m.: Duvall’s Northwest Art Center is hosting its first steampunk-themed art auction since 2019. The event, at Redmond Ridge Community and Event Center, will include dinner, auctions and a live program. Tickets are $95 and can be purchased at auctria.events/NWACAuction2025. There will also be an online auction for which tickets are not required.

North Bend Jazz Walk, 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.: North Bend’s 2025 Jazz Walk will include 18 venues, 27 bands and over 100 musicians, from high schoolers to jazz veterans. Pet Place 18th anniversary pawty: Pet Place Market in North Bend is celebrating 18 years with 20% off store-wide, free samples, a raffle and more. Store is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

North Bend Friends of the Library book sale: This three day sale offers discounts on gently used books to raise money for the North Bend Library. The sale is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Snoqualmie Valley Health champagne brunch, 9 a.m.: The annual Snoqualmie Valley Health Foundation champagne brunch will be at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge.
