Snoqualmie Sunflower Festival: Join the Carnation Chamber of Commerce for its inaugural Snoqualmie Valley Sunflower Festival from Aug. 23 to Sept. 15. Several farms around the Valley are participating in the festival, kicking off at Lora Lee’s Family Farm, 17651 W. Snoqualmie River Rd. NE in Duvall, with live music and vendors on Saturday, Aug. 24. The 2024 Snoqualmie Valley Sunflower Celebration will be held on Sept. 7 at the Tolt Commons in Carnation. A map of the participating farms can be found on the Carnation Chamber of Commerce website. Free Summer Matinee: Join the North Bend Theatre, 125 Bendigo Blvd. North, for a free matinee showing of “Paddington” at 11 a.m. Aug. 23. For more information, contact business@northbendtheatre.com.

Fall City Friday Market: Head over to Aroma Coffee Co., 33429 Redmond-Fall City Road, Fall City, for their Friday Market on Aug. 23. Local farmers and artisans will be on-site along with a few food trucks and a beer and wine garden hosted by Sigillo Cellars and Snoqualmie Falls Brewery. Hearth Farm Tour: Join Grange Owners and Hearth Farm farmers Sarah and Luke on a tour of where Grange veggies grow. Experience a farm tour, and enjoy the surroundings by bringing a picnic or walking on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail. Reserve for the 10 a.m. tour at 10340 Carnation Duvall Rd. Shop, Dine and Unwind: Head to Historic Downtown Snoqualmie on Railroad Ave. on the evening of Aug. 29 to shop, dine and unwind by strolling through unique shops, local cuisine and drink award-winning wines. North Bend Farmers Market: Shop for local seasonal produce at the North Bend Farmers Market from 4 to 8 p.m. Aug. 29 at Si View Park, 400 SE Orchard Drive in North Bend. Concerts are held during the market every Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Specialty products, fresh cut flowers and tasty treats will all be available for purchase. Paul Zerdin: Join the Snoqualmie Casino on Sept. 7 for a night with ventriloquist Paul Zerdin. Zerdin placed first in the 2015 season of America’s Got Talent and is a must-see for anyone who likes a good laugh. Tickets are available on the casino’s website.
