The happy hour with a family-friendly twist, from 3 to 7 p.m., promises backyard playtime accompanied by The Happy Little Ice Cream Truck. Bee Stewardship and Hyper-Local Honey Tasting: Learn how to be a bee steward while exploring bees’ essential role in food systems and local plant life with Oxbow Farm and Conservation Center, 10819 Carnation-Duvall Rd. NE, Carnation, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 13. The interactive workshop will offer an up-close experience into the fascinating realm of bee hives and regenerative beekeeping. Busy Beaver Guided Hike: Join the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust for a guided hike on July 18 to discover the secret world of beavers living throughout the Greenway National Heritage Area. The one-mile round trip sunset tour beginning at the Tibbets Beach Parking lot in Lake Sammamish State Park will start at 7 p.m. and last until 9 p.m. Participants will learn about local restoration efforts, coexistence strategies, ways to get involved, and fun facts about beavers and are encouraged to wear sturdy hiking shoes and comfortable clothing. Movie in the Park: Join the city of Snoqualmie and King County Parks for an outdoor movie at Jeanne Hansen Park, 34226 SE Jacobia St. in Snoqualmie, on July 18. The 70-foot inflatable screen will play “Monsters Inc.” at sunset. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. For more information, call 425-416-0678.

Theatre in the Park: Head over to Si View Park, 400 SE Orchard Dr. in North Bend, at 10:30 a.m. July 20 for a performance featuring an adaptation of “Charlotte’s Web.” Registration for the program, in partnership with Valley Center Stage and Si View Metro Parks, is required for guests at siviewpark.org. North Bend Downtown Block Party: Join the North Bend Downtown Foundation for their block party from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. July 20. The festival fosters community pride and engagement while economically boosting downtown businesses. The free dog-friendly event will feature several local performers, a Kid Zone, a vendor fair, a locally sourced beer and wine garden, food trucks, and arts and crafts.
