The city of Duvall is hosting its first celebration of Holi, a Hindu festival known as the Festival of Colors.

Duvall Holi Celebration, 1-4 p.m.: The city of Duvall is hosting its first celebration of Holi, a Hindu festival known as the Festival of Colors. The afternoon at Depot Park will include music, dance, cultural performances, food and play with color. All are welcome.

Daddy-daughter disco dance, 6-8 p.m.: Si View Metro Parks is hosting a daddy-daughter disco fever dance at the Si View Park Community Center. The evening will include a live DJ, disco decor, dancing, food and a photobooth. Tickets are $35 per couple for residents and $42 per couple for non-residents. Register at siviewpark.org.

Pour House Pete’s open mic night, 7-11 p.m.: Pour House Pete’s in Carnation is starting weekly open mic nights on Sundays. Those under age 21 are welcome until 9 p.m.

Miller’s open mic night, 6:30 p.m.: Miller’s in Carnation has open mic night each last Thursday of the month. Sign up starts at 6 p.m. All are welcome to attend and perform, with a two-song minimum. Beverages are available for purchase, and outside food is allowed.

March 27

Duvall City Council meet and greet, 1-2 p.m.: Members of Duvall City Council will be available to chat and answer questions at Rustic Cabin Coffee.

Irish music circle, 6-8 p.m.: The Grange in Duvall is hosting Irish music every fourth Thursday of the month through May. Doors open at 5 p.m. Reservations for parties of 4 or more can be made by calling (425) 788-2095. All are welcome.

Big Block Brewing trivia night, 7-9 p.m.: The Carnation location of Big Block Brewing has trivia every Thursday. All are welcome to enjoy “beer, laughter and questionable knowledge.”

March 28

Sip and spin at Pearl and Stone, 5:30-7:30 p.m.: Pearl and Stone Wine Co. in North Bend is hosting an evening of drinks and music from a live DJ. Entry is free.

Stargazing in Duvall, 7:30 p.m. to 12 a.m.: Volunteers from the Seattle Astronomical Society will be sharing their telescopes with the public at Duvall’s Big Rock Sports Field. All are welcome to enjoy what is predicted to be a night of dark skies good for stargazing. As bright white lights can disturb night vision for up to 40 minutes, it is requested that attendees park in the lower lot or as far away from the middle field as they can, with headlights facing the street, and only bring red flashlights.

Carnation Farms restoration work party, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Carnation Farms, in partnership with Stewardship Partners, is hosting an ecological restoration work party. Participants will learn about restoration efforts, take a guided walk and do restoration work for an hour. Each group will get to pot and take home a native plant. All are welcome. The event is free to attend with optional donation, the proceeds of which benefit Carnation Farms and Stewardship Partners. To register, go to carnationfarms.org/events.

March of the Vegetables, 3 p.m.: Duvall’s annual March of the Vegetables parade is back to kick off spring. The parade will begin in the parking lot 26401 NE Richardson St. and end with live music, activities and a beer garden at Depot Park. All are welcome to watch or adorn vegetable attire and march.
