Man of La Mancha: Head over to Valley Center Stage, 1060 Stilson Avenue SE in North Bend, for their latest musical, Man of La Mancha, set in the Spanish Inquisition during the late 16th century in prison. Susan Rice: Head over to the Willliam Grassie SnoRidge Tasting Room, 7802 Center Boulevard SE, Snoqualmie, at 9 p.m. June 1 for a night with comedian Susan Rice. Rice, now in her 70s, began her comedy career in 1983 and is still making people laugh. Seating for the show opens at 8:30 p.m. Tickets start at $25 and can be found on the William Grassie website. Blake Pottle Foundation 5K: Join the Blake Pottle Foundation for their third annual 5K to fight cancer on June 2. The event promises a fun-filled day of running, community spirit, and support for a great cause. The walk or run will be held on June 2 at Meadowbrook Farm, 1711 Boalch Avenue NW, North Bend. Registration starts at 9 a.m., followed by several different start times based on the participants’ age and speed. Tickets range from $30-$45. All proceeds benefit the foundation’s efforts. Fall City Day Festival: Head over to Farmhouse Market, 33521 SE Redmond-Fall City Road, on June 8 to participate in the annual Fall City Day Festival. The fun family community festival includes parades, a fun run, craft booths, food vendors, live music, pony rides, a watermelon eating contest and more. The event starts with the fun run registration at 7 a.m., followed by a pancake breakfast, and lasts until 5:45 p.m. While the event itself is free, some activities might cost participants.
