This week’s events include an array of spooky offerings for all ages.

Oct. 18-27

Farm fall festival: Novelty Hill Farm in Duvall will host its Fall Fun Fest each weekend through the end of October. The farm has pumpkins for picking, a corn maze, farm animals and a local art market. Open Fridays from 3-6 p.m. (no market on Fridays). Open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visiting the fields and market is free. Tickets for full activity access are $5-$7.

Oct. 19

Mountain Film Fest: North Bend Theatre will have the second showing of its annual Mountain Film Fest with “Anytime,” a film about mountain biking presented by Mount Si MTB. Five more adventurous films will be shown from now until Dec. 15. For tickets and more information, go to northbendtheatre.com.

Oct. 20

Free youth pumpkin carving: Empower Youth Network will host a free pumpkin carving event at Carnation Farms from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Youth ages 13-18 can pick out a pumpkin from the farm’s patch, and carving tools will be provided. Oct. 23

SnoValley Chamber: SnoValley Regional Chamber annual membership meeting runs 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge. This luncheon will feature important chamber updates for members, including the introduction to the new Snoqualmie Casino team and updates on local developments within the Snoqualmie Casino and the Snoqualmie Valley. Tickets are $40 for members, $55 for non-members. Please help support the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank and bring a pop-top can or two of soup. Visit snovalley.org.

Oct. 25

Grateful Dead cover show: Grateful Dead cover band Long and Strange will have a show at Miller’s in Carnation at 8 p.m. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages will be available for purchase, and attendees can bring in outside food. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at millerscarnation.com.

Oct. 26

Halloween parade & treats: Carnation’s annual Parade of Costumes will include a trunk or treat this year from 1-3 p.m. The parade starts at Carnation Market and ends at Tolt Commons. There will be a costume contest at Tolt Commons at 2:30 p.m.

21+ costume party: Pour House Pete’s in Carnation is having a costume party from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Entry is free for those age 21 and up, and prizes will be given throughout the evening. A costume contest will be held at midnight.
