Friends of the Snoqualmie Library Book Sale: Head over to the Snoqualmie Library, 7824 Center Blvd. SE, for its Friends of the Snoqualmie Library Book sale from Sept. 27-29. Find deals on gently used books and support library programming. Book sale hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Steve Aliment & Annie O’Neill with Randy Weeks & The Silent Treatment: Head over to Miller’s at 4597 Tolt Avenue in Carnation at 8 p.m. Sept. 27 for a double bill with Steve Aliment & Annie O’Neill with Randy Weeks & The Silent Treatment. All ages are welcome to the event with the purchase of a $20 ticket. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available at the venue. Carnation Farms’ Harvest Market: Join Carnation Farms and several local vendors from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 28 to celebrate the bounty of autumn. Enjoy hot food and drinks from the farm’s culinary team, take a history tour around its main grounds with their archivist, snap a selfie in a fall-themed photo booth and pick up autumnal decor. Homemade soaps, clothes, art, sweets, gifts and more will be available for purchase. The event will be held at the barn on the property at 28901 NE Carnation Farm Road in Carnation. Women’s Self-Defense Workshop: Head over to Renzo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, 385565 SE River St. in Snoqualmie, for its free monthly women’s self-defense workshop from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 28. Classes are open to ages 12 and up, but Renzo Gracie advises that they will be discussing real and sometimes uncomfortable situations. Blood Drive: The William Grassie Wile Estates Tasting Room at 7802 Center Blvd. SE in Snoqualmie will host a mobile blood drive in partnership with Bloodworks Northwest on Oct. 2. North Bend Friends of the Library Book Sale: The North Bend Friends of the Library book sale is back and will run from Oct. 1-5. Hardcover and paperback books, children’s books and homeschool materials, CDs, DVDs and audiobooks will be available for sale. Children’s book prices range from 25 cents to $2. The rest will be in the $5 to $20 range. Book sale hours are from noon to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Scott Rinckenberger Gallery Fall Show: Head over to Scott Rinckenberger’s North Bend Gallery at 106 W. North Bend Way, from 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 4 to celebrate his latest gallery show opening. The curated collection of Rinckenberger’s unique photos of the Snoqualmie Falls is his latest in a rotating selection of images celebrating his life in the mountains and the Snoqualmie Valley.
