Oregon State University in Corvallis has announced the names of the students to be named to its fall term honor roll.

Two local students are among the 1,427 to earn a straight-A average this term, Bailey Pfeiffer of Fall City, and Elizabeth Carroll of North Bend. Pfeiffer is a junior in environmental sciences. Carroll is a freshman studying biology.

Also on the list, for earning a GPA of 3.5 or better, were Gabrielle Lablanc of Carnation, and Kaitryn McDade of Snoqualmie. Lablanc is a senior, studying nuclear engineering. McDade is a junior, studying graphic design.
