Renee Spear of North Bend, has been named to the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University dean’s list for fall semester. Spear, a sophomore, is the daughter of Gregg and Wendy Spear, granddaughter of Betty Spear and Shirley Forgey, all of North Bend.

Spear’s goal is to become an astronautical engineer on the International Space Station.
