Train Museum honors service-people with Memorial Day steam train rides

The Northwest Railway Museum pays tribute to America's service men and women and their families this Memorial Day with a special weekday steam train run on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30. To commemorate the holiday, the museum will offer $5 round-trip train fares Saturday through Monday May 28 to 30, to members of the military and their dependent family members, with current military ID.

To commemorate the holiday, the museum will offer $5 round-trip train fares Saturday through Monday May 28 to 30, to members of the military and their dependent family members, with current military ID.

All trains include a stop at the Train Shed exhibit building.

The museum offers scenic train excursions aboard its antique train, through the Cascade foothills of the Upper Snoqualmie Valley, including a ride to the top of Snoqualmie Falls.

Trains depart every two hours beginning at 11 a.m. from the Snoqualmie Depot at 38625 S.E. King St. and at noon from the North Bend Depot at 205 McClellan St.
